While networking the Bluegrass Mycological Society, a gentleman offer his Forma Sciencetific, model 1849 laminar airflow work station for sale. Looking at his picture, I thought I could put it in the back of my hyundai santa fe. He said no, he had brought it there in the bed of a pickup. 6 hours later, I made it back home. OK, it is a little old but it looked in good condition. The original manufacturer had changed hands a few time, but I manage to find a manual. Looks like the parts are obsolete, did I waste my time and

money? After several hours of research, I found Koch Filters in Louseville Kentucky, almost in my back yard. They can make the needed HEPA filter and the pre-filter. Still got to change the florescent lamps to LED, replace the UV lamp, clean and disenfected the whole unit. It weighs 475 pounds so I want to build a powered adjustable height frame with wheels so I can move it around and use it standing or sitting.
